In our fast-paced world where we constantly are compared and measured, it is easy for children to forget how unique and awesome they truly are.
If we run around being too busy day after day, we don’t have time to process our emotions and to realise how far we have come already. How amazing we already are.
We need to pause and reconnect within ourselves.
Many studies have shown that meditation and mindfulness are profoundly beneficial for all beings, at all ages. Imagine how much illness we could prevent by regularly taking time to check in with ourselves, listening to the signals of our body? Imagine how much inner peace we could gain, by becoming aware of our own thinking patterns: this voice in our head creating repetitive stories about the past or worrying scenarios about the future? How often do we give ourselves permission for “being” without “doing”?
Mindfulness & meditation is communicating with yourself. Becoming your own friend. Knowing your own truth.
I truly believe that through mindfulness and meditation we realise we have so many choices and we all can create the life we are meant to live.
